Mures Tasmania wins Sustainable Seafood Retailer & Community Champion Awards

Mures Tasmania has been awarded the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Best Retailer Award and the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Community Champion Award in the 2022 Sustainable Seafood Awards!

These awards recognise organisations and individuals who make significant contributions towards ensuring there will be “Fish Forever” by supporting responsible aquaculture and sustainable fishing practices.

Directors Will & Jude Mure said, “Sustainability has always been an important part of our business model. It is a great honour to receive both of these awards and it is a reflection of our continued focus and passion on ensuring that there are plenty of fish for the future.”

Mures would like to thank the ASC & MSC for all the work they do to ensure that we are managing our seafood industry sustainably and responsibly. Mures are very proud to able to work alongside both organisations in safeguarding our oceans for future generations, and to have our commitment to sustainability recognised in this manner.
